$1599.00 $575.00 exc VAT

Purpose

To develop the highly specialized skills, knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the equipment used in subsea production systems.

This online course is structured mainly for It is designed for petroleum engineers, production engineers, subsea project engineers and it is also highly suitable for cost, planning, offshore installation and offshore operations engineers. Anyone directly or indirectly involved with subsea equipment will benefit from attending this course; from engineers installing the equipment to procurement staff looking to understand more.

Course Objectives

The objective of SCUSSPE Level 1 is to provide participants with a foundational understanding of subsea controls, umbilical systems, and subsea production engineering, equipping them with the knowledge required to comprehend the basic principles and components of these systems.

The objective of SCUSSPE Level 2 is to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in subsea controls, umbilical systems, and subsea production engineering, focusing on advanced concepts such as system optimization, reliability analysis, flow assurance, and subsea intervention methods.

By completing SCUSSPE Level 1 to Level 2, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of subsea control systems, umbilical systems, and subsea production engineering, enabling them to contribute effectively to subsea production projects, make informed decisions, and implement best practices in the field.

Training Mode: Online

Description

SCUSSPE Level 1 is a comprehensive training program that introduces participants to the fundamentals of subsea controls, umbilical systems, and subsea production engineering, covering topics such as subsea control systems, umbilical design, installation, and subsea production operations.

SCUSSPE Level 2 builds upon the knowledge gained in Level 1 and focuses on advanced concepts and techniques in subsea controls, umbilical systems, and subsea production engineering, including system optimization, reliability analysis, flow assurance, and subsea intervention methods.

The training program provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of subsea control systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and communication components, as well as their integration with umbilical systems and subsea production equipment.

SCUSSPE Level 1 to Level 2 covers key aspects of umbilical systems, such as design considerations, material selection, installation techniques, and monitoring, ensuring participants have a solid understanding of the critical role umbilicals play in subsea operations.

Participants will learn about subsea production engineering, including wellhead systems, flowline design, subsea processing, and intervention strategies, enabling them to contribute effectively to subsea production projects.

Subsea Controls, Umbilical’s Systems & Subsea Production Engineering (SCUSSPE) Level 1 to Level 2 provides an overview of all of the functionalities and key interfaces of subsea equipment. it covers relevant industry engineering standards for subsea equipment, Dual-bore vertical tree, Monobore vertical tree. Horizontal tree, Tree selection, Valve functions, Manifold types, Manifold piping design, Manifold structural frame design, Manifold foundations, Injection manifold design, Retrieval of components, Subsea Controls Terminology, Master Control Station (MCS), Electrical Power Unit (EPU), Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Subsea Control Module Mounting Base (SCMMB), Subsea Control Module (SCM), SCM Components, SCM Control Mode Description, Subsea Valves, Jumpers & Connection Systems etc.
